About the Role
As a B2B Sales Executive you will be responsible for providing office-based support to the B2B Sales Managers in all aspects of administrative and operational fulfilment of client orders. This is a vital role, involving proactive account management in order to facilitate client orders and contribute to the achievement of departmental sales targets.
As well as taking a lead role in the marketing and development of the small contract and telesales business you will be joining a growing team with great prospect for development.
As a B2B Sales Executive your main responsibilities will be to:
Act as first point of contact for all incoming enquiries from existing and new clients
Produce invoices for standard orders with set discount and standard product profile supporting sales team
Track orders and project schedules with the relevant teams in order to confidently update both the sales team and clients
Forge strong working relationships with the merchandise teams and customer services to maintain a clear view of stock availability and delivery
Develop an in-depth understanding of the Habitat B2B business proposition and product offering
Project co-ordination/administration supporting London site visits and coordination between various business units and the client
Work with the B2B Sales Managers to expand the client base as well as growing the business from existing clients
Manage the B2B client database, ensuring all information is kept up to date through communication with clients
Arrange for all new business orders to be input into the Habitat order system
Work alongside the marketing department to deliver a programme of marketing activity to support the B2B business
As a B2B Sales Executive your skills, experience and qualifications will ideally include:
Experience of dealing directly with customers gained in either a retail, sales or customer services environment
A background in furnishing products and a genuine interest in interiors
Polite, articulate and reassuring telephone manner and that constant communication is maintained throughout the process
Tenacious attitude to problem solving in order to deliver an excellent client service
Ability to identify, prioritise and deliver large and varied workload, without constant recourse to line manager for support and guidance
Financially literate in order to accurately produce quotes and invoices, apply pricing and discount rules, calculate gross margins
Character that is able to flourish in high intensity sales environment and be a great ambassador of the Habitat brand
Good Excel skills essential and experience of Microsoft Office
